Where is the Summer going? We have been so busy as usual, it has been flying by! Breeding-wise, this has not been a successful year for us. Although we tried several times, BR Peaches Moore is not in foal for next year, which is very discouraging. Padron's Halli is also open, but we only got one try at getting her in foal on foal heat, which we knew is not usually successful.
Both mares are healthy however, so we will try again next year.
Oh, wait, maybe not...... Innishfael is happy to announce we have aquired a new stallion! A King of the Arabian World has come to live out his days with us. We would like to thank Cindy and James Andrews for entrusting us with GAMAARAY (Gamaar x Hillcrests Imafarwa) a 1982 Bay Arabian Stallion. Please check out the new page we have made just for him. We are not sure if "Ray" is still fertile, but he is out with the mares now and seems happy enough. He is a true gentleman and wonderful to handle, so we are happy to be able to look out and see him grace our pastures. If by chance, Peaches or Halli would end up in foal, you will hear the cheers and shouts all the way from Southeastern Minnesota!
Thanks also to Jessy Rasmussen of Cloud Castle Arabians for her help in contacting the Andrews and navigating our trip down to Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. We only got lost one time, which is pretty good for me!
