Encouraged by my wonderful husband, I made a 2006 New Years Resolution to start painting again.  On this page I would like to share the results with you.  I will be adding to this page as I create.  Most of the artwork pictured will be for sale, please email if you are interested.  All of my paintings have 'finished' sides so they can be hung without framing for a clean look.  They can also be framed as you wish.   If you see something you like, but have an idea for a personalized image, email me and I can create something similar yet unique for you.   All commissioned work requires a downpayment prior to work being started.       Email is Innishfael@aol.com

New Painting 1-10-10  - Black Arabian Stallion

I have been toying with the idea of a 'black on black' painting for a while now - here is the result.  

18"x 24" finished sides original acrylic.  $225.00 with $15.00 additional for shipping in the United States.

Secret Santa Presents

I did this painting as a gift for Heidi Phetteplace of Triple H Arabians in Wisconsin.  It features her stallion, Sihr Jawher, who is a straight Egyptian stallion.  I tried for some Egyptian ambiance and the cartouche on the left spells out Sihr's name, whereas the cartouche on the right spells out 'hope' - which is what all of our Arabians give us.

I did this painting as a gift for Joanne Ogden of Aurorawind Arabians.  Joanne raises Russian Arabians, and her grey stallion is Priszm.   I did some research on Russian rugs and the background for this painting is a Dhagastani design from the early 1900's.  The russian at the top translates to "A treasure from Russia" and the bottom translates to "The beautiful Arabian Horse".
