August, 2009.   At this time, Innishfael Farm is retaining some of our young stock for our own use, as well as a horse or two just for riding.  We will be adding to this page with riding pictures as our work load lightens up and we get some more time in the saddles. 

However, we wanted to share some photos of our yearlings, and we will be adding to this as well.  First is Innishfael Maximus.  Max is also a show horse and featured many times on our Show Pages.  He is the 2008 MN Pinto Futurity Reserve Champion and a 2009 World Pinto Champion in Halter.  He is taking some time off from training and the show ring to be a horse this Summer.  Even with mud on him and unclipped, his quality is unmistakeable. 

Innishfael Danu is another of our yearlings that we are retaining.  Danu is the 2008 MN Pinto Futurity Champion, beating out her brother Max who took reserve to her.  Danu injured herself the beginning of this summer with a very severe sprain of the left rear fetlock.  Due to this, she has not been shown this Summer, but is now healed nicely and will enjoy herself until next Spring and we will take her out a few times then to see how she does.  Until then, she and Maximus will play out in their acreage and have a good time.
